    fish in weird places.

I guess after the cyclone up north and big currents a giant sweetlip made its way to the gneerings off mooloolaba. Has anyone caught them this far south, or any other fish that was an odd catch for the area.
This sweetlip was under wieght having trouble eating in new area? who knows.

If it was sliver in colour it would be a painted sweetlip which we catch out at the neerings most of the time. They are often referred to as mother in law fish but if you bleed them straight away and but them on the ice they are good eating.

They will also put up a great fight on light gear.

    Cheers
