Thread: SD card problem

    SD card problem

I have a 2.0GB SC card with photos and video on it.

I cannot get the data off the card.

The plastic case is split at the top and the little ' lock ' pin is missing. The card is basically intact.

    No other damage.

Does someone have an idea / suggestion on how to get the " family " video off the card and onto a DVD ? or at best onto a hard drive ?

    Thanks

    Maybe try this guy. lostdata.com.au

If you stuff around too much you may stuff it up. Safer to get someone else to do it if you value the data.

    Re: SD card problem

Phill, some cards don't work on my computer, so I put them into the socket on the printer then view the files from there. Just an option.

bugga. I have 2 printers here and none have a SD card slot .

I'll give the data recovery guy a shot.
