    newbie - Brissy southside

    Hi, I am in the process of buying a boat after many years away. My last boat was a 13 foot edge tracker with a 25 Mariner. I am looking for something around 15 to 16 foot with at least a 50 to 60hp outboard. Not sure if I want a runabout or a side or centre console. It will be used mainly for fishing around Moreton bay. Not in any hurry, just want to get the right boat for the 2 of us.

    Hi mate,

    Welcome to the forum. I was in the same situation as you, my fishing buddy is also my girlfriend so we had to compromise on the runabout. Some days I wish I got the center console, but some days I'm glad she's comfortable too. Can't win!
