    new reel numbers

    what do the numbers stand for when getting a new reel?for example shimano sienna theres 1000 -2500-4000 and so on.hope its not a silly question but was just wondering is one better than the other etc.regards john

    Generally speaking the higher the number the bigger the reel is physically.
    I intend on living for-ever....so far so good
