    A Custom Kustom

Here are some pics of my new Kustom one off Duffrods Kustom Fishing Tools rod . I wanted something a bit special as I was after a rod to chase snapper in less than 20 foot of water, pull bream from heavy cover in deeper water and also to chase big bass and big Toga’s.

So after several conversations with Steve regarding the concept of the rod I was after and since he was familiar with the areas I would be using it when chasing snapper etc the blank was chosen. We decided that the 3-5kg blank with Kframes and recs was what was needed. I also opted for the minima reel set simply because when a big snapper hits I want the instant feel that the minima seat gives. We also decided to bling it up with some purple checks and also some nice harlequin paint. The colours change from bronze to gold to purple.

I am putting it to use this weekend on the Northern NSW Coast chasing snapper. Hopefully they will play ball. So here are the pics. Enjoy.

    Cheers

Mate sounds great and a lot of thought has gone into it, but are you colour blind?
You are going to scare them off with that thing!
    Cheers and thanks.

Thanks for the replies guys. Once again thanks Steve for building an excellent rod[8D]

It performed very very well on a heap of rats kings and a few good snapper.
