    hervey bay accom

    poss going up to hervey bay for a week early dec....anybody able to offer advice on camping/cabins,,near ramp....l/cruiser and 18ft savage to park on site....

    looking for fishing/boat freindly place..... relaxed and cheerfull.....

    Gday Chris.
    Mate we stayed at the Happy Wanderer Village in a Villa,, I had a 6m boat & it fitted in front of it with the vehicle easily, nice clean park & only 5mins from the Marina.. Can't think of the number of the villa but it is the first one coming from the office (it has the most room for the boat)

    I second what Barry says.

    Stayed there many times. Clean, comfortable, affordable.

    BUT, I stayed in a powered tent site and still had room for boat.

    Gday bazza,
    Lookin for a new liver soon i recon.. We are waiting for the home brew to mature look out then,,,,We tried mondy the other night..One rotten cattamundi..far too high water/fish ratio i recon.
