Can everyone be extra carefull when touring our impoundments and rivers as Boats and trailers , redclaw pots and shrimp pots together with livewells and live bait are easy carriers of unwanted weed pests
please never ever use live bait in a waterway where it was not sourced from
it is requested that a good check over is made of your entire rig when exiting lakes and rivers to ensure that weed is not taking a free ride
sometimes it only takes a few leaves or a stem to become real trouble

I noticed on a recent trip to Somerset the bank covered in weed I have not seen there before. Nasty crap. I hope the authorities attack it before it is takes over.
