Macleay Island Fishing

HI,

I am taking the kids to Macleay Island and have looked everywhere for a tinny hire place but cannot find any. Does anyone know anywhere on the island that hires tinnies or charters off the island? If not i will take the kids for a fish off the shore...... Are there any good spots on Macleay to fish off the shore?

The NW (more north though) side of Macleay has a nice jetty to fish from - you would be sure to get some fish even if they are little but kids love catching anything....also a little beach....worth trying for some squid as well there.....

Don't know of any tinnie hire places....
