Maiden Voyage
well, the day finally came.
put in at scarb,( that sure is a top ramp there now)
headed out to cockle banks but westerly really chopped it up, so just went around redi, close in.
When wind died and swell dropped a little, flew over to cockle bank.
boat went like a dream. First run, so had to run in, but it jumped out of the hole.
just sat around 15knots for days running, and even in a good chop, boat was dry as.
When at rest, extremely stable, with 2 people on 1 side, didnt move.
That 50hp 4 stroke yammy was so quiet.
Cant wait till run in period is over.
New humminbird 788c worked a treat.
Out of 10, i gave it a 9.
Only because i think back seat needs to be about 3 inches higher, just to see over bow when doing about 10 knots.
Other that that i love it.
