50 Litre CUB Keg

Hello,

Has anyone got any connections to someone who can get me a 50 Litre CUB Keg?

CUB stands for "Carlton United Brewery".

I need to get one of these to convert to a Crab / Prawn cooker.

I an not looking for a stainless steel hot water system as a substitute cooker, sorry.


I reside in Beenleigh area so anyone from Brisbane to the Gold Coast is welcome.

i think i still have one in the back somewhere ill have a look Peter the only problem it is still full of guiness i got it from my father_ inlaw 10 yrs ago when he closed down the golf club ill look today .

Yeah mate, I know I can but they are the wrong type and freight on top, don't think so. The CUB Keg has the right dimensions, any other type wont suit .

I know all about the pub , not my style, its not in my blood to steal but thanks the warning.

Yes, I know, thanks for the advice, I had a couple of Kegs about 20 years ago but they went walkabout. I found out they had springs and spears under pressure back then.

Just go to nuggets website, there is a link to it on this forum and look for a post called "how to cook prawns" and you'll see it as a video.
