G'Day Peter...all reports suggest their current status offshore from Ballina as ...."THICK-PLAGUE"
Thanks Stonecold and Murf. Looks like I'll be in for a show then.
I reckon Muzz will be over the moon with the new baby.
Cheers, Peter
Murf have a go using some heavy single strand and some of those heavy 3way black swivevls. Painfully fiddly but mite do the trick 4u.
Honestly guys,
I just tie a simple knot, once around and through the hole, pull it tight with pliers.
Maybe crimp the end of the loop ready so you can poke it through the eye of the hook,
and that's it, nothing fancy.
Just remember that you will probably loose a few rigs to the mongerels swimming up and biting your line if it smells right.
The end of this week will probably be OK Peter, will just have to watch the weather and let you know. Will be taking at least 1 of my boys with us, just so we can make the most of them while they are here,
the 40 odd we killed a few weeks ago are already gone.....YUM
Muzz
thought i would bump this as it is coming up to that time of year again
top stuff I am ready with boat in tow for a M&G jacket session this year
cheers Murf
The whales are on their way up now, so it wont be long.
All we need to do is try to get some decent weather, has been pretty crap lately.
As soon as they are thick we will go & get a boat-full,
poor old Bondy has been chewing at the bit for ages......
will be great to have you up here Murf.
Muzz
while u boat the jackets ill take the kings
Hey Muzz and Ben,
Be sure to let me know when the jackets are around, Ill head out with ya's and catch a boat load.
Andrew
Yeah, count me in. I got the gear already to go.
Be good to get some of these mongrels. I dont mind kingies too
Onerabbit, will wait to I hear from you.
Peter
Muzz,
Can you send me a pm as to rigging up for these again. I've misplaced the info.
Cheers, Peter
