i HAVE FINALLY DECIDED TO BUY A NEW TINNIE.
MY STACER 489 IS JUST TO MUCH WORK BY MYSELF.
I HAVE LOOKED AT A STACER 449 NOMAD WITH 50HP MERC.
IT HAS 2 BENCH SEATS.
I HAVE ALSO LOOKED AT HORIZON 445 WITH A FULL FLOOR AND 2 PEDICAL SEATS WITH 4 POSITIONS THROUGHOUT THE BOAT.
I LIKE THIS TYPE OF IDEA, ESPECIALLY FOR THE SPACE.
THIS HAS A 50HP YAMMY.
I HAVE LOOKED AT SPEC OF MOTORS AND YAMMY DISPLACEMENT IS 700CC AND MERC IS LATE 900S.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT BOATS AND MOTORS IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME.
MAYBE SOMEONE HAS ONE OR THE OTHER

Just wondering Seahorse how a very minor change in length from your old boat to the new one would make it easier to handle? (489 to 449)
What aspect of the present rig is causing you the grief?
I would certainly identify those points and then look round for a boat that doesn't have these problems.
Yamie certainly hard to beat though I love the Honda 4 strokes but the extra money is the price you pay for a brilliant motor.
