Hopefully I have work in the Alice soon. Where is the closest place to go fishing and what to catch. Also any good places to stop on the way there through Mt Isa.
try fishing the todd, you might catch a local lol
not too sure mate, theyre aint alot of water out that way, the todd typically flows 2-4 times every 10 years, i do remember going to some ponds like in canyons about an hour and a half away but wasnt into fishing back then so couldnt tell ya how it would go...

some of the locals that I have talked to go up to McArthur river and fish there . but alot would go south down Adelaide or Port Lincoln way as well .
