My mate was just wanting to know if a sol 2500 spool will fit on his sol 3000 reel.

Any help if appreciated

Looking at this RCS parts chart, it doesn't look like a 2500 spool can be used on any 3000 size Daiwa (the Caldia Kix has the same body as the Sol).

I think you want a 2500r spool, as the 2500r certate is a 3000 with 2500 spool (or at least line capacity.
