dropped down to cabbage tree point to see how the ramp was going, and to my surprise they have finished it off, and a week early.looks pretty muck the same but it looks abit higher and steeper. the sides of it look a bit shabby though, just pretty rough concrete makes it hard to land your boat on the beach and walk it over. but apparently they are looking at fixing it up, should be only another 6 months or so. cheers BK

its a little wider but not that much you could fit 3 cars at a time on the old one i cant see that you would fit 4 on the new one.the point was that it was in the budget for the GCCC to re do all the boating facilities so they had to spend the money whether it needed it or not. good to see the ratepayers money at work!!!nothing like a good waste.
