watersnake foot pedal ......anyone know where to get one..?

hey guys,

my bow mount watersnake has died, well i think its the foot pedal,
its just constantly turning the to left the whole time and wont stop.
i opened the pedal up and it looked like the spring was broken under the left pedal, thus leaving it on,
i replaced the spring with a small one found in a pen, this seemed to do the trick but when i plugged it plugged it back in it was still doing it, i pulled the left hand button right off and it still does it so im starting to think the whole pedal has had it.

has anyone had any issues like this..?
do you think its the pedal or pehaps a bigger issue.
i will ring JW on monday but the motor is over 12 months old now, so not sure what will happen there,

does anyone know if you can buy the foot pedals,
i see its not in the current catalogue,
if so any ideas on price..?

My mate Spud had EXACTLY the same problem the other day. he fixed it himself, with some parts from auto ellecy. BUT since then he snapped the shaft of his motor yesterday!! so he might have the sh$ts with the lot and sell you his foot pedal

I will check with him, what and how he fixed the problem, then I will PM you his number...he can explain. Hes at Cania at the moment.

Not good when they pack it in after 1 year. bit dodgey. He has had a few other issues too I believe.
