Callide Dam - did it recover?

I was wondering if Callide dam ever recovered from the fish kill a few years back?

I believe Lenthals barra suffered the same year but judging by the reports on this site it would appear Lenthals is producing again.

Anyway I haven't seen any reports coming from Callide and was wondering if it was ever restocked with barra?

yeah it was restocked after the fish kill, recently there have been barra caught around the 55-60cm mark and the odd bigger ones around that survived the kill. Apparently quite a few locals are tryin their luck at the moment with most of them casting from the bank and a few out in boats, its good to see the fishing pick up again as it used to be an awesome place to get amongst big barra.

Well that is good news,, caught a lot of big Barra there before the big kill & have been waiting for the fish stocks to build up again...
Would like to hear of some more reports from there
