Some advice for the morning please...
Hi all,
I have the opportunity to take my son out and chase some mackerel in the morning, but I've got to make a call tonight whether it's a go or not.
Our rig is a 5m Trailcraft bowrider with an 80hp Yammie 4-stroke. We normally put in at Bribie but can use Scarborough or Woody Pt almost as easily.
Anyone have any thoughts on:
- Whether the weather will be OK for a trip across the bay or offshore from Bribie?
- If the channel markers off Bribie or those around the 4 Beacons would be a better bet?
- Any preference between live-baiting, jigging or trolling?
We're not novices but we're far from seasoned fishos - so any advice will be gratefully accepted.
I'm attaching a small pic of the rig - if you happen to see us out there please say hi and see how we're getting on.
Cheers,
Steve

Greg,
Sorry for the confusion - I'm trying to decide whether to go tomorrow or not.
Fancy coming with us and passing on some tricks of the trade???
Send me a PM if you're interested.
Cheers,
Steve

Based on the Seabreeze forecast for the morning, I'd be heading out if it wasn't for work......
