    Howdy,

I don't know any of you guys but I'm happy to get in and do some binding on the day.

I have a couple of older 4" and 6" Alveys in good nick if they'll match up with any of the rods.

Please just give me a call when you have a date. (I've PM'd my mobile - unfortunately I'm never too far from it these days.)

    Cheers,

    Steve

    Phil,

I had a look in the shed. i got half a dozen spools of line. about 200 - 300 metres on each by the looks of it. 8, 10,12 and 15 lb. should spool a few of the rods between them. ill bring them on the day.

Just had a look, I have a box of EVA grips sitting here so I will bring down. I will see what other stuff I have sitting around.

    Phil,

I will help out as well, no good on the rod side of things but sure I can do something to help.

I can also chuck in a couple of boxes of lubrication to keep the workers from dehydrating.

Just let me know what you need.

what about other things like razor blades, sand paper and paint brushes, let me know.

    Regards
    HOnda

    Oh good.
By the sounds of the numbers turning up all I'll have to do is make coffee and sandwiches.
I might even slip a couple of my rods into the mix to get fixed
Or do I fix a reel or two instead??

I would rather a stunning bikini clad blond hold my sausage and a beer while I bind away. Sorry Scott, but I just don’t think you would do anything for me in a bikini mate.

At least I would be stunning

stun·ning play_w2("S0826300") (stnng)adj.1. Causing or capable of causing emotional shock or loss of consciousness.
    2. Of a strikingly attractive appearance.
    3. a. Impressive: gave a stunning performance.
    b. Surprising: The President's final decision came with stunning suddenness.

Just please don't pick option 2 or 3(a)

    Hi Phil,

First, congratulations. That's a great idea.

Now, I was thinking that a lot of people (well, at least one! ) have tons of unused stuff that they would gladly donate if it matches what you need.

For example, say that the target is 20 combos. That's 20 blanks, 20 reel seats, 20 grips, 20 guide sets, 20 reels, 20 x fishing line, etc...

If you're short anywhere, just publish the list and I'm sure someone will fill the blanks.

    Cheers,
    Steve
