More wild bass

Couldn't hold out for more then a week so I hit up my local with a good mate of mine. Same as usual, didn't get any hits till after dark (we did hide while a small shower passed ). First cast after dark and Aron pulls in a little bass. Not long after that I hook up to a 40cm bass (2nd biggest). Once again on the black bubble pop.
Next weekend I'm back to the salt for some red fish

Mick , what river system are you fishin ?
Yet to catch a 40cm model out of the upper brissy river area as yet.

Paul, Ive been fishing the upper brissy river. Last week I fished the north side on brissy at a mates spot but other then that I'm between Ippy and Big W.
Richard I was but am missing the salt! Haven't been able to get down the coast so I've been having quick little sessions out west.
I'd like to catch a jack around 40cm to see how it would compare to bass. Ive only caught bigger jacks and would pull the bass inside out.
