car broker

Has anyone had any experience of using a car broker to find a car?

I want a D2 land rover and am struggling to find a decent one in Brisbane, there seem to be a lot more in NSW so I was wondering if anyone has used a broker they’d recommend.

yeah i have tried various ones over 3 vehicles, each time they found me a vehicle it was priced too high, i came to the conclusion the nich was nothing higher than asking a dealer to keep an eye out and what his mates in the industry had hanging around.

Each time I bought as well or better myself and private for up to 1/3 less.

Might work the way one thinks it should and very well for rare cars, I dunno.
