    Glenbawn

    Hi guys
I just spent mornings (6:30am to ~2pm, 30th sep, 1st and 2nd oct) fishing Glenbawn in the Hunter Valley NSW thought id post a quick report.
Water temp around 17C, up to 21 in spots wind coming up at times.
Found quite a few fish schooled in around 10m of water that fell to ecogear vx40 blades hopped very slowly. the best fish caught from this technique came in at 52cm from the island in the middle of Bighouse bay.
some fish caught slow rolling smoke yellow core plastics and tn60 jackalls around points in the top half of the dam (yellow bouy bay to the pan handle)
also managed to land quite a few casting a silent tn50 HLblack jackall at the western end of the dam wall to the dredge and retrieving it about 4m down with small hops (landed a 47cm bass and 45cm yella this way)
i would say the dam is fishing quite well at the moment.
    cheers
    Aadam

Thanks for the update Aadam. Dont get many from that area.
You had a pretty good session for 2 days fishing.
Water temp still pretty cool down there.
We are looking at frosts here again this week.
