Went up yesterday, and yes it had dropped considerably in the past week.
You cant sneak thru the the gap at the first island anymore, and I also had a massive prop/gearbox wrecking collision with stump just past the second cutthru on left (if your heading to jacks bay)...very scary....think I got out of it without major damage, stainless prop OK...hope gearbox is too!

    cheers steve

Stevo, just how far has it dropped in the last week mate???

I had a bloke in a bc&f store tell me that the water level had dropped 8 feet at Mondy in the last couple of days. I find that hard to believe but maybe 8 inches??? Can you comfirm?

    Cheers,
    John.

Just checked the levels at the dam wall on BOM website.

Has fallen from -11.22m to -11.30m in the last few days.

That is 8cm, not 8 inches or 8 feet!! Mind you 8cm at the wall seems to equate to much more up the system...

Thanks for that Pete, i can believe that

Just trying to remember an incident earlier in the year, where Sunwaters figures were a bit doddgy, can vagely remember Foxie saying something about it. Thats why i put the question back to Steve or Foxie.

    Cheers,
    John,

Its fallen around 6 feet since the 08 Muster (12.5 months)
Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

    Re: Mondy now 28 percent

    Fellas,

I reckon its dropped about 15 cm or so.....in the first cut thru, the stick Brian is talking about is about 25cm out of the water, before it was about 10cm or so...its probably the best indicator stick I can find...or bothered noticing....

I have never actually measured the depth at the first island cut thru....I just zoom thru with my eyes closed holding my breath...but the sounder usually loses the plot and reads 3-4ft. Thanks Rob for the exact figures!!! You have to be really careful around that area anyway, the other day there would have been 15 boats fishing around the whole island....must be some fish getting caught there!!!!

    Cheers Steve

    Stevo

Is that the stick almost in the middle as you exit the cut through heading upstream? If so, had my eye on that one for some time...maybe a few slower trips in the Chariot are in order. I can only run a stainless prop so don't want to risk the gearbox.

    Cheers
