Plug for Viking Kayaks

Went into Viking at chermside today.
I bought my yak there about two years ago.
I told the proprietor that I wanted to add a couple of handles and a new hatch bag which he supplied , as he did the stainless screws plus some spares. I then picked his brain for quite some time about rod holders which he advised me to go away and look at my positioning and technique before deciding on.I then had to twist his arm to accept any payment at all!
Talk about after sales service.I seem to recall that he was extremely obliging when we bought the thing.
They are in a bigger shop these days so things must be ok in a tough market.
I hope they make a motza and wish them well.

Good report mate, and not an unusual level of service from this mob, it's good to see an aussie manufacturer beating the overseas boys.

I have no commercial relationship with Viking, just plenty of good experiences.
Alex could teach a lot of retailers about customer service.

Have to agree, the bloke at the store in chermside is awsome did the same thing for me about a week ago.
