I will keep my eyes out for it. Do you have a picture/ what size was it?
They are a brazen lot to take it in the middle of the afternoon. They should have something cut off their body when caught to remind them that this is not tolerated in the community.
Hope the police find it.
Cheers
Chris
Hi Chris
It was an 18' (560 series) one, still trying to find a photo. The hull was about a 1986/88 model, so the cabin was a little bit higher than the early 560 series.
I really hope you and your mate see it again...
Cheers, Bandit

Hey,
Good luck. I had a boat stolen from Runaway Bay many years ago. Encouragingly, I got most of it back in pieces about a year later.
That cat has been parked in that same spot for many years. Thiefs be new poeple to the coast looking for some easy cash, otherwise it would have gone before now.
I'l keep an eye out. I know the boat well from the many years of driving past and seeing it at PP getting serviced.
Regards
Darren
Thats F#@%&ed!! I hope its found and the thieves are hung up by their jatz crackers! Did he have a trailer lock on???
Sadly trailer locks dont offer much protection these days.

Trailer locks are just a deterant, if someone really wants something they are going to take it.
I agree no doubt that the locks only stop honest thieves, just curious how keen they were. Cheers.
HOLY CRAP!!!
Do you have any photos to show us???
I have to agree with above.....trailer locks just don't stop thieves. Only the honest thieves get deterred by that. If they want it.....they will take it regardless!!
Jason.
FISHING IS NOT A HOBBY...................IT'S AN OBSESSION!!
Sorry to hear about boat getting stolen.
Hope the thieves are caught and a taught a lesson.
It's a bit late now but..........
Check out these trailer locks !!

Friend of mine has one.
He told me you can use these legally while towing.
They look a heaps better than the $30 ones from Supercheap.
Added bonus is that the trailer is locked onto the towing vehicle and cannot come off while towing is in motion.
The Hitch Helmet is virtually indestructable and creates a formidable deterrent for thieves
not sure if this is any interest for ya but i thought id post it anyways. even being a long shot,
