Thread: Isuzu D-max and Holden Colorado - What's the difference

Re: Isuzu D-max and Holden Colorado - What's the difference

I am looking at one of these to tow a van and have heard a lot off positive stuff and some interesting negatives , One person on another forum said they were way to light and hopeless for towing yet others have posted photos of the Colorado with largish vans on long trips and have had only praise for them, I am guessing ( and it is only a guess ) that some people try to tow to fast for the conditions.

With a 3,000 kg tow rating v the Hilux 2,250kg rating there has to be some major differences. A friend in toyota was saying the new hilux is built on the chassis of a normal road car I think it was the Corolla ???

I am a toyota person and have always had toyota utes but I am seriously looking at the Isuzu or the holden badge version.

Where are you Dug - happy to take you for a strap with the van on in mine (company ute) if you're somewhere near. Mine's the auto so there's some missing ponies, but it tows just fine.
