Steve.
Slipped out for a quick fish in the Hobie this morning with Katrina
Katrina stuck with a Jackall & didn't take long to find a fish.
I used a Smack spinnerbait in purple - ended up with 9 nice bass up to 45cm

Good fishing Scott and Katrina. 9 bass is certainly a good haul. Some good sized ones too. They'd be towing the yak around a bit.
I like the look of those little lip grippers....If you don't mind me asking, where from ?
Damn........ the recession is here!!!
From a 90K skeeter to a kayak
Very nice fish though. I think I know vaguely where you are and I've been wanting to give it a go for a while now.

They are Rise Fishing tools :- http://www.risingfish.net/products.html
I got them as samples from Mayfly Tackle / The Innovator rod dealers in Melbourne. They are a fly fishing accessory & quite handy

Great stuff Scott, yakkin looks like fun! All I need to so is get over my laziness (and crook back)
I need to get back out to that spot myself, haven't been there for a few years and have got some nice Bass, Toga and Barra out of there. Picking up my new skinny water weapon soon so hopefully it won't be too busy when I do get back there. A few years ago you'd never see another person out there, hopefully it doesn't get too popular.
Cheers
Tony
Tony - We're lucky to have plenty of local water to explore
See you at the FCFSA meeting this week
