signature 542f vs 540f
still looking at a new boat wondering if anyone had any comments on the comparison of the sig 542f and the 540f of which i'm told is lighter by around 120Kg due to ligher glass in the side pockets and the floor is lower in the boat so less glass. Would there be any noticeable difference in seaworthiness or ride? length and beam are minimal difference. The 540f is definately in the single axle trailer and lower towing weight category. The boat will be used for offshore fishing with other similar sized boats and will need to be towed reasonable distances and also be for moreton bay family trips.
thanks for any comments
