Had a look at the Pfluegers Darryl down at B#F, then like all good little internet fishos, I came home and googled them, there were a few comments about quality control in the blank, tips breaking etc??

Any thoughts based on what you have at the moment?

    Brian I just picked up a Daiwa 7' Tierra @ B'F member price $129.
Not Cork, ergonomic foam ! med/ light with a sensitive tip, 8-17lb
    Nice resistance, plenty of stick

They have the Penn spinners on special @ $99 if you are still chasing one 2000 to 6000 range I think.

I bought a Team Daiwa Tierra 4000 and the Tierra Rod.
The outfit came in just under $400

I am afraid I can't justify the expense of the carotcakes or sneezers
