    G'day

    Go and get yourself some septone drifter. I use it detailing, brings the stainless up well. It's a phosphoric based cleaner.

    On the label it says it's safe for stainless steel kitchen surfaces, obviously follow directions.

    Dave thanks for that I will have a look on the net and try and get sone to give it a go.

    I live Bris northside any idea where I can buy some to try.

    Septone drifter - Ive never heard of it but will try anything.

    OK Dave checked it out on the net and basically it is a cleaning and polishing product (as you already knew),

    Thanks mate sounds the go.

    Will post and let you know when I have tried it.

    that makes sense, we used to use phosphoric Acid as flux to soft solder Stainless based metals, might also be what they used to "pickle" Stainless products to shine them up and prevent rust stain after welding.

    Spot on, any of the auto/marine shops will have it. Probably even the local hardware.
