it came of private property in northern nsw , pristine creek real textbook looking cod country , fish came of a 2metre deep ledge tight in along the bank in very clear water , 20lb braid & 30lb leader , pretty average cast landed right on his head hooked solid in bottom lip , swam away strongly

Look mate, nice Murray Cod but please, do NOT try and fish for Murray Cod or any other fish in closed season.

Solid fish mate. When you told me about it I didn't think you meant 10-15kg! You made it out like it was a pisser, haha. Never got one myself. How do they fight? Slow and weighty?

TT have brought out a spinnerbait called the Tornado recently. Designed for the bigger freshwater fish, particularly Cod. Chunky hook with bigger blades and a bit bigger profile. Did you get him on one of them?

Your combo has definitely caught a few good species now. No Threadies for me last night.
