Help needed whats the best way to fish a dam from the bank if it has a lilies 2m deep using SP hate those things.cheers

Use worm hooks and rig them 'weedless' with the hook point inside the plastic.

If you need to add weight, put on a small ball sinker before tying on the hook

OR

Buy a set of full lenght waders so you can get into the water & nearer the edge of the weedbeds. Watch out for drop offs!!!

If yo walk in unknown depth as well as waders make sure yo buy a good raincoat andput a tight belt around it cause if yo go under and y9ouor waders fill up you will drown as they hold so much water

bloody dangerous if you ask me,

better off looking for a cheap $500 yak,
that way you can get amongst some great fishing with minimal outlay and running costs..(pracyically none)
