Fine Tunning Heddons Torpedo Lures Propellers

Was just wondering if anyone fine tunes these lures. I used it today and got a nice little bass on the surface but after afew more casts i noticed that the propellers werent spinning well at all. Out of the water they spun freely but in the water, bugger all. I have heard some people say to straighten the props up a bit but before i go trying that i just wanted to know if anyone else does it or what do you do to get them going well in the water.
    Cheers

Just check that one blade has'nt been bent and opposing the other one, apart from that they will work flawlessly usually.

    Tunaticer's gottit in one!
Sometimes if one sides not quite even, it'll jam the spinner. Gently bend the blades so they have the same amount of angle.
I still use my dad's ORIGINAL Heddon's from the 60's/70's. Great lures! Just don't try bending blades too often or *snap*....
