hi of to awoonga 11,12 and 13 sept i havent been there for 5months i hear the water level is up so things will be looking a bit different.
any tips would be welcome eg lure plastic tips areas in the dam that might produce fish better than others this time of the year.

Dean , think there is a comp on that weekend ....Just look for warmer water .. Just think about what time of the day will the water be the hotest ???... Just use what you have no magic lures.. the trick is to find the fish

Plastics are already working fine and have been all winter, the trick is to use lighter jig heads so they sink slower and can therefore be wound slower. You also have to pick a soft plastic that works well at slower speeds, these type of plastics are usually softer than your average squidgey, they do exist you just have to find them. cheers scott.
