Update : Pine River Pollution

Both my local State Member and the EPA have come back to me and stated, as follows.

My local State Member has undertaken personal representation to the Honourable Craig Wallace MP, Minister for Natural Resources and Water, As soon as she has further advice, she will write to me again.

The EPA representative has written to me thanking me for the photographs and details, also stating that they appreciate that the incident has been brought to their attention. Also stating that initial investigations appear to show that the release point is related to the paper mill. Investigations are continuing and as soon as they have an outcome they will inform me.

Bit of a way to go yet, but i hope that we can get a result that will benefit the water quality of the Pine River and possibilly Bramble Bay.

Will report when further information comes to hand.

Still no reports recieved from DERMATITUS, or should that be DERM.

I will contact them again tomorrow.
