soft plastic questions

I dont use soft plastics too much and there for havnt had alot of success catching barra with them. I am interested in what works for you guys. Also how does a Texas rigged plastic work? Does it use a running bean sinker instead of a jig head?

u can buy worm hooks with weighted jig heads or slip on a running bullet sinker, i know there catching barra on surface plastics like the squidgies horny toad!!
