Hi Ausfishers, please post your best and/or most memorable coral trout pics, along with a basic description of where, and how it was captured.
Here's my only suitable contribution. Caught in the Whitsundays on a whole pillie rigged on 2 ganged hooks. Lifting it the first 2 metres off the bottom was like pulling a struggling cow out of a bog.

really nice trout there Matt, they are just a sensational fish I reckon. Seeing as you ask about cows and bog, well the answer is none, it's just what I assume pulling a cow from a bog would be like!

Got a couple round this size but this is My biggest!!!
He went 8kg and got him on a whole hussar!! does the trick fine!!
