where abouts on the north coast matty_m
One of the reasons we call this spot x. Caught these 2 greenbacks 10mins apart very early in the morning on poppers, around christmas time 2 years ago. Also lost a couple of beauty's the same morning. Very hard to land fish there!Seem to catch more greenbacks around that time of year. They went 78cm & 3.9kgs, and 72cm & 2.8kgs. Rock fishing northern NSW.
Cheers

do you know that the record for tailor was 21 pound caught in WA. cheers
This is a nice fish my neighbour caught last year off Pincushion rock at Maroochydore. It went 6.2 kg and about 90cm. He uses a 15ft Bullshit No2 rod/shimano big bait runner with 15lb braid and 75 gm raiders. His casts land out of sight most times and he is in his 60s. Not bad for an older gentlemen.
It isn't the water on the outside of the boat that sinks it, its the water on the inside! Life is like that!
Heres a couple me & a mate caught in the 05 Flathead classic. All caught on 4lb fireline.
The 2nd pic won longest tailor for the comp. Can't remember exactly how big it went but i think it was around 79cm. Not bad on 4lb fireline & caught off a sandbank aswell!!
Great photo work NIZ180!
