Taking my Old man fishing at somerset and need some info on wear too fish and wat too use i got lures no hb's and was wondering wat bait too use and rig too avoid catching shitloads of fork-tailed-catfish

any help appreciated

Try lobbies and Shrimp if you can get on to them, otherwise flick your smaller soft plastics down around the base of all the trees and snaggs you can find.

It is not easy at the moment.

There are no Forktailed Catfish in Somerset, so you'll be safe from them. Although they are a great fish to catch. If you are using bait, be carefull dehooking fish you want to release. Spinnerbaits and Softplastics around the edges should be reasonably effective.
