    Wivenhoe Mega Bass

Was up at Wivenhoe Dam 2 weeks ago with a couple of other East Coast Kayak Fishing Club yakkers and caught 4 quality bass and pulled the hooks on 2 others. A good day out.

    Cheers,

Good bass Gigantor, I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to bring those things aboard your kayak. I have enough trouble landing them on foot. I sure can see why you use lipgrippers. Do you ever get your legs spiked ?
    Well done.

    LGM,

I use a landing net as well as the lip grippers, which makes the whole process quite easy. Haven't had any legs spiked yet (touch wood).

    Pete,
Can I ask where you put in. I can't paddle a yak any more due to a back op. So I picked up a colmann ram x 15 during the week. Want to set her up for the impoundments. I live in Brissy so the Big W is just up the road.

From the sailing clubat Hayes Landing / Billies Bay but you need to be a member / key holder.

Logans Inlet is just as good depending on time of the season.
    Cheers
