Decided to go out and give the place another chance with the little lady to see how it has settled down,arrived about 7.ooam to see only 1 other boat on the water,headed down the dam this time to try some plastics with a slow supptle retreive the plan.flicked all lilly areas for zilch again water temp down to 67 degrees.went up the top and flicked some more lillies and got smashed on a new rivertosea biblenot see any fish soundings at all on the sounder and it is the 3rd trip out there recently with only one fish landed.even the rats are none excistent both barra and ss ,the bass went straight into the pads and took a bit of effort to drag it out ,it went 410mm and was a magnificent condition,this was the only fish for the day and it worries me that a lot of the good fish might have gone over the dam wall in the big rains,will have to wait till summer and see if it fires,a big cross fingers,i feel sorry for the fish stocking guys too.

Good on ya Warrior nice effort in tuff conditions we did the am session at maccy today for a baby bass and a eel on lure weird but 410mm is a great fish and well worth the day fishin top stuff.

Hi Al, not good to hear Lenthals is the way it is. Sounds like a lot of dams at the moment. Hopefully things will pick up soon. We need more rain, but its stuffing the fishing up too. Bugger. Can't have it both ways though.

Those fish certainly have some power when they beef up a bit. Almost like they've been fitted with a super charger. Well done extrating that one from the lillies.
