I personally release all cobia as sometimes their mates will accompany them for the duration of the fight and I feel bad that I am ruining the relationship...
I also prefer trout,nanny's and spanish which we never seem short of...

no problems here mate i would encourage you to take a fish home like that to feed your family and friends there seem to be a few c&r fishers who are a bit carried away with them selves ,tell them to get stuffed ....matt

I am getting a bit concerned with some of the vibe that is starting to build again. I suggest that any of the tossers who have a problem with a fellow Ausfisher taking a legal catch then they should pick up their handbags and go home.
If you choose to release all fish caught then you have to live with the fact that you have KILLED a very large proportion of those real trophy fish that are released.
If you have a personal problem with some aspect of the way people fish then by all means post a general topic raising your concerns. Don't send sneaky PM's or post negative reply's in someones reports post
Why don't you name the culprit and I will send them a PM and tell them what I really think

Great cobe, im jealous, and they are great eating, most young fishos these days have a good sense of balance when it come to fish stocks ect so ignore the nutter and enjoy your sport.
