NAGG and kingtin,
Thanks for the information, much appreciated.
I may be simplier to ask you what brand of esky and colour you have or would recommend. I am only looking at a 70 litre esky.
I was looking at Big Chilli Coolers. Heaps on e-bay.
Cheers

I've got two orange tropicals (126litre and an 80) The 126 I've had for 4 yrs and when I'm camping, it regularly sits in the sun, on the boat for 4 days at a time with absolutely no sign of warping at all.
I also have a yellow 60 techni ice which I can't fault and a waeco 90 which is the pick of the bunch but too good looking to take fishing.
Taking Price into consideration, if I had to start over again, I would go for the Techni Ice. They're a major supplier to hospitals and commercial which in itself must say something, and they regularly do good specials:

Just be a little careful, not all of them are built the same, some have a less than 'tropical' lid and overall robustness if that matters. It was first on my list, worth paying extra for IMO, for instance if I ever needed something to rest the rear corner of the car on or even the trailer axle/frame with boat the tropicool can step up with I dare say no lasting ill effects, not that I advise this procedure but the point is during my time checking them out it was the only one that could do it all well enough + a little bit more.
Orange sucks!
