One more of the tank.....
Some pics of some of the native fish in my tank at home HERE Will try to dig up other pics I've got on the old PC, maybe some video as well.
Have had alot of Australian & PNG fish over the years. Love the saratoga & Archerfish. The most entertaining fish at BBQs is hand feeding the big barras I had. Getting a new person to feed them was always worth a giggle.

Australian Native Fish VidsSpecialize in Terapontida's, Perches, Cods, Gobies & Gudgeons
I'm surprised you guys havent got any of the "vermin" species like small rays and catfish and the odd pike eel or conger eel. They make excellent tank critters and soon clean up anything thats starting to get crook.
One fish I always wanted to get into my tanks when I had them was an Elops Australis or Giant Herring. Would love to be able to study their habits.
At one stage i have an octopus I caught at redcliffe that was about 1/2 a kilo or so. He decimated anything that was a crustacean quickly including an almost legal sized Muddy.
Jack.
i have an mottled longfin eel, and i did have 4 catties , havent tried a ray yet mabye i might if i catch a little one. that would be cool, cause actual freshwater rays cost like 2k imported and that way too much for anyone i think.
would the rays be able to be converted? salt to fresh?

Hey i just fixed up my aquarium compilation vid of most of my fish engulfing food and just swimming around. I have a good and a bad version so i will put the good version link up. ( i dunno if you will like the music, i like it)
There are natives and non natives. Be aware this is the first video i have ever made, so its a bit shabby, and yes i was using my shabby camera lol
Enjoy!
