Hi all. This season ended I up with 44 jacks. Most were in the 40's with 9 going over 50cm and 1 caught by my mate at 62cm (I tied his knots, rigged him up with a bait and told him where to throw...10 sec later zzzzzzzzzzzzzz). I missed almost 3 months of the season to go overseas and ended up feeding a 4kg jack, rice in the Philippines
. Most caught on Sp and the rest on Live Bait. I also had some interesting sessions where 30lb braid / 60lb leader was not enough. Most were caught in the Tweed, Currumbin and Tally rivers. All landbased.

Nice fish bud, looks like a good season u had 4 of my biggest jacks this season were over 60cm and my mate got 2 over 60cm as well so it was a good year, nice photos again mate ,cheers.

Jeffo- Mate kept a few this season (around 8). They are a top fish to eat.
Mick- Yeah mate, I cut a fine line between passing uni and spending time fishing. Hehe. Had a week off there where we got around 25 jacks between a few of us.
Jackextractor- I'm yet to break 60. Next season for sure. I'm getting a calcutta 250 and inserting an erskin drag. This might help as my 4000 sustain was nearly breaking with the 50+ models on a locked drag. You had a good season- saw some of your pics while I was overseas and really started stingin for a jack fish....nice work mate.
