Barron Falls Cairns

Hi All
Wife and i went to visit the family in cairns at christmas took some photos of the barron falls while we were there also went to Green and fitzroy islands the water was a bit cloudy from recent rain attached are some photos Barron Falls 3rd January 2008 . Daughter sent some photos of the falls 5th march 2008 after the rain they had . Wonder what the water on the reef is like know.

The falls always put on a top show after rain they must really look good from the rail station .

I was there yesterday... the Falls are going crazyyyy! Always an awesome sight... just underlines how powerful water can be!

Thanks for the photos of the Barron Falls when she's been raining heavily.

Last time I was there in 2001, it was dry, some water trickling down , the river was running but nothing torrential as what you saw.

It would have been awesome to hear the raw of the water as she jetted past.
