My Stella 2000SR lives on a Nitro Powerbream finese ( a good match) ...... But the Shimano did not mate well with my 701 or 702XL ...... many casting issues

701 is mated nowwith a 2500 Caldia & the 702XL with a Certate 1500..... perrrrfect

As mentioned in the next thread of yours ... about $500+ locally for the Certate

The Caldia - Attachment 22662 is a JDM reel ( we have the Caldia Kix - silver coloured)

The Caldia is a really nice reel ( good drag , very smooth for a 5 bearing reel ..... It was much better than the Tierra )
There were a few floating around 6-8 months ago for about $260)

With the exchange as good as it is at the moment I picked up a Sustain FE 2500 for under $270 and a Fireblood 1000 for under $350, both landed in Australia. Both awesome reels, but if I had the choice at similar prices I would go the Fireblood for the lighter stuff. They are a lot smoother/lighter and not a bad looking reel in my opinion.

sustain buddy! i have some friends that are huge shimano guys and they use the sustain 1000 to 4000. man these reels have knocked off some big fish!
