    Divorce.
I held onto the boat, but decided to sell as I was moving around a lot for work and the boat was getting neglected. I also want the money to put back into a house

Your attachment didn't work mote. You need to use the "Go Advanced" button and import the image into AF first and then attach to your message.

    Re: Seafarer Appreciation thread

Well this thread has been lacking lately so thought i should chime in, being a haines guy all my life i never thought id see the day i would buy a seafarer, but that day has come. i recently picked up a little seafarer viva, build #5 with a 2008 opti on a awesome dunbeir c channel trailer with not a speck of rust. the boat is a bit rough and needs some work with lots of gelcoat chips and faded and peeling stickers but its solid as a rock. went for a test run before handing over the cash and i was pleasantly surprised how well it handles for a 5m boat, very airborne crashing into chop head on at wot and quite dry considering.

few questions to the experts, is it basically a vsea with a runabout configuration?
what size tank usually i worked it out to be around 85l
anything to check up on with these hulls
anything i need to know or look out for
    Thanks in advance

will be giving the boat a tidy up and new fit out over the next month or so including new electronics and a bimini with rocket launcher.

The V-Sea was a 4.74m hull so not sure if this is the same hull or not.

    Re: Seafarer Appreciation thread

Hello to all Seafarer owners and users,

I'm condisering putting a drum style anchor winch in my 2000 model Seafarer V-Sea.

Are there any Ausfish members with V-Seas that have installed anchor winches.

    If so,

    1. Which one did you install,

    2. Was the install easy,

    3. Any modifications required,

Pictures of your installed winch would be very much appreciated.

hi guys here are a few pic of my seafarer ventura. brought it 2 and a half year ago. original motor blew up so replaced with new 140 suzuki.
replaced hard top and new clears last week.
added anchor winch and fixed trailer to a drive on. have thought about putting trim tabs on but not sure if their worth it.

Thought the old girl would appreciate a freshen up
Some new vinyl by a very careful chap at hope island.
Job is perfect , on time. On budget.
He also reglued loose carpet, trimmed hood of original thru hull tranny so seats would hand properly, made a box under bunk seat to accommodate water bladder( painted it too!)
Did a nice clip on carpet, and cut out the original logos and sewed them into the new covers .
    Love the result,
Many thanks to Scott from CVS innovations .
    I will definitely be back.
