Yep, know the set-up well. Recall a test in Modern Boating with same set-up on jack plates. She flew.

Lot more where?? The victory were 1200kg when fry built them THG were 1000kg or so ..the way I see it is they have gust added the glass back into the boat and started building them the same as older ones because no one has wanted to buy a gains built one ... The good old saying if it ain't broke then don't fix it ... Lol

I rekon you are on the money Mick. What they should have done is leave the old one as it was prior to them taking over and build the new model that Lindsay had in the design stages with a hardtop.

    Re: Seafarer Appreciation thread

New seafarer x series offshore Victory and Vagabond is just about to be released in the market after years in slumber. JV Marine Melbourne and the THG group have spent over 6 months redeveloping the 2 models to suit a clear offshore market. We have added approx a 150kg of extra fibreglass into the Victory and 180kg into the Vagabond making the Victory approx 1200kg and Vagabond an unbelievable 1450kg. 270 litre fuel, foam filled hull, trim tabs, live bait tank and deck wash and 32mm railing all come standard. The list just goes on and on, official release will be at the Melbourne boat show fitted with Suzuki outboards and furuno electronics we are sure they will create plenty of interest. Contact JV Marine for more information..

    Seems you are right.

Would have liked to see the bow raised a little.
Be interested to see how they fit the trim tabs

    Re: Seafarer Appreciation thread

I would say they will fit tabs but have no swim platforms .. You will have to add swim platforms as an option and have a new mould to fit tabs you would hope .... It wouldn't be a victory if you raised the bow it would be a whole new design hull and top deck
