random rouge 45cm bream taken while targeting flattys didnt even know they got that large around my area as the average size is 15-20cms decent fight on 6bl mono

49.7cm's just on the 2kilo mark. Caught at Colledges(sp) crossing.

If my memory is correct the Australian record for a Bream is just under 4.5kgs. It was caught at Camden Haven in NSW in a drain off the main river channel. I gather it was a bit of a "swamp pig".

The best i have seen caught was my pop (rip) in 03 down sth, it was 2.3 kg. When weighing it in at the tackleshop the other bream gun who was fishing the same spot, gt a 2.7 kg one. It had 6 pipis in its gut.

my biggest was 38cm to the fork, would have lost the rod if it wasn't for the baitrunner.

my biggest a 47cm caught on a sandworm from the tweed river opening.
